The Florida Department of Transportation
(DOT) is planning to replace a huge section of elevated I-95 interstate
from the St. Johns River to near Emerson Street, called the
Overland Bridge. Overland Bridge is expected
to take three to four years to complete and will result in
land loss and the taking of business property and home property
in the process.
Our law firm is representing a number of land owners
and business owners who are having their property taken. Under Florida
law, business, home and land owners have a right to full
compensation for the land that will be taken from them
and the DOT is required to pay for all attorney expenses in
addition to the money you will receive.
The DOT is already acquiring property for this project.
Protect your rights and call us today for a free consultation if
you or someone you know will be affected by the Overland
Bridge project.
The Florida Department of Transportation is holding
a public hearing to discuss the proposed Interstate
95/Overland Bridge Noise Walls project in Duval County. This hearing
will be held Thursday, May 13, 2010, at 6:30 p.m.,
at the Florida Department of Transportation Training Facility, 2198
Edison Avenue, Jacksonville, Florida.
